My God. All of these names on this site. And so many I knew have passed on. People I played guitar with, scored from, attended Parkville School with, hung out with... Overwhelming. Literally took my breath away. Joe Polisar! Stu Moses! Liz Maslow! Holy shit! And all of the tough guys who passed. Steve Panzarella, Big John Fonda.... Cool heads like Peter Raayman and John Rzekonski. Weeping. Thanks for the shock and the time travel. The wife and I go to Rhinebeck at least twice a year, it's a great town and a beautiful part of New York. The French Bistro across from the hotel is recommended. Bring a convertible if you can, and a visit to the Aerodrome is recommended. I doubt I'll attend this thing, since I wasn't THAT tight with schoolmates back then, and it's been one hell of a ride for me. Just glad I landed on my feet, have a loving family, and I finally escaped Long Island just 7 months ago. I lived in the Town Of North Hempstead for 62 straight years. Amazing. (Also unwise.) Just wonderful seeing all these names. Have fun and savor the memories.

GREAT NECK SOUTH CLASS OF 1970 DESTINATION REUNION

We are so excited about our upcoming Destination Reunion!!!

We will be gathering in Rhinebeck, New York at the Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn early Friday evening, May 16, 2025 for a casual dinner (BYOB).

Saturday morning, a Continental breakfast will be provided to the hotel guests by the hotel and then you are free to explore Rhinebeck and the surrounding historical sites. Make sure you return in time for the Main Event at the Beekman Arms!

Cocktails at 6:00 pm followed by Dinner at 7:00. There will be plenty of time to reminisce, renew acquaintances and make new friends. After dinner, we're looking forward to the surprise entertainment and hope everyone is inspired to get up and dance! The ticket price is $250 and includes a welcoming cocktail, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert.

Get ready for your close-up! Our photographer will capture a group photograph so we will have a memento of the event!

When you awaken on Sunday, breakfast will again be provided to the guests by the hotel and we'll have our last chance to say good-bye until the next time!
